What is the attraction of white men to black women?

Why do white men that like/are attracted to black/mixed race women hardly or never approach them? Even when they like them?

What is the attraction of white men to mixed race i.e. Italian/Jamaican women?

What would be the implications of such an interacial marriage?

Why would it - if it would - be better to marry your own race?

What if the mixed race woman is not attracted to either of her nations but an opposite race i.e. German, Scandinavian? And what is the likelihood that she could marry into that race? Because its her choice?

Why should there be any specific attraction. Why do we need to put labels on things? Why is it not simply one person's attraction to another person? Why would race have to be a factor?

Clearly, the stigma and ostracization of mixed race couples is waning. In the past, I believe that stigma is what kept people from looking for realtionships outside their race. But more and more people are becoming color blind. They (rightly so) are looking at the person and determining how well they relate to that person regardless of race.

I really think this question is improperly worded and posed.

Scott mostly hit the nail on the head. However I think there is a bit more to it. People for what ever reason like to try and live outside the box. What I am trying to say is that mixed race relationships have always been tabu and as such I guess there is an air of danger in a mixed race relationship. While some more liberal parts of the country a mixed relationship is accepted in other parts of this country it is considered a NoNo and as such could be quite dangerous. The ramifications of a mixed race relationship could be mixed race children. They are not accepted in white society nor black society. Is that wrong? Yes, most definitely, but it happens. I think there is also the issue of sex. Many people feel that white women are not as good in bed as other races. Also white women are sometimes more independent and many men don't like that. Many men want a woman to be subservant to them.

I can speak from experience. I am in a interacial relationship and we have travel together and people rarely pay us any mind. There are so many interacial relationships that I think most people don't care nor pays it any mind. Also, we are having a baby, which is going mixed, but who cares. Many of my relatives are marry to girls/guys of another race and no one cares. My daughter is also mixed and I get many people walking approaching us telling me how pretty she is, blah blah.

Once in a while me and my fiancé get stares but it's usually from the older generation. We pay them no mind and sometimes we entertain the situation by kissing or something. Love is color blind and if anything it makes us stronger.

I am wary of anyone who ALWAYS dates someone of another race, another culture. I don't know that it's a sign of being color blind as much as enjoying the reaction. When people post on these threads that they've been married X times and all of the wives have been from overseas, I have to wonder.

Note I said - when someone ALWAYS dates another race, another culture, is not attracted to the same race/culture.

I think marriage is difficult at times and outside pressures - because of race, religion, whatever - can either make you stronger or tear you apart. Varies from couple to couple, relationship to relationship.

It's pretty simple. Everyone is attracted to something. Whatever it is... it's a personal thing. US analyzing other people's internal compasses emotionally is pointless.

One person's innate attraction to a different race doesn't have to mean anything, any more than one person's attraction to big butts would be... or red hair... or foreign accents.

It is what it is and will defy any sort of generic analysis.

Had to spread the rep JB because you are so right. I think a people have a right to be with anyone they like, as long as it is legal. Who cares who going with who to each be they own.

Also, it's funny because my brother only dates big cheated women and married one. I tend to like tall guys but my fiancé isn't that tall but his height isn't a factor to me. Everyone should be with whoever makes them happy.

My personal experience has been - and maybe it's the circles in which I travel - that any black man who has ever asked me out at some point has always made a very big point of telling me that he only dates white women. I have never come across an exception. No one has ever asked me if I date one race or another.

Again, this is my personal experience and I found it creepy.

White men who ask me out don't feel compelled to tell me they do - or don't - only date white women so I don't understand it.

EDIT: I just read the OP's past posts. This is not the first time around for this question/subject. Now I have to wonder what the story is.

I find middle eastern men handsome, its just when I "talk" to them terrorism, shemaq, veil and men having so many wives are at the back of my mind.

Attraction is just the beginning but at the end its a matter of fitting in. Races have their own culture that other races might not appreciate and prevent them from liking the other race. Just the difference.

Are you really posting this question? I feel like maybe you have an issue with who your ex is dating. And, it just so happens they are of another race? As a person who IS a minority I find your questions strange. Sure, I don't have to read you post but I feel sorry for you if you continue to have these feelings. I mean why are some people ONLY attracted to blond hair and blue eyed people? Get real and get with the times. You are obviously jealous of your former lovers new love interests and it clearly bothers you. It happens but why all the strange questions?

Well really there is nothing to a mixed relationship you see it all over the world it's just that fact that if a man/female likes you and you guys get along great then there is no problem and if a guy/girl llikes you then they will find a way to let you know you just have to give the guy/girl time because you don't know the sitution

I learned the only thing you can do is live your life and do and be with someone that makes you happy. Who cares what people think or say. People will always have something to say regardless of who you with, the clothes you wear, etc. People will always judge no matter what. Race shouldn't matter but if it does to you then don't date outside your race.
