95 civic has intermitten problems. Tranny goes out after a few miles. Let it sit until it cools down able to drive again? Could it be the ecm?

Do you have enough transmission oil in it? Are there any ECU error codes?

Yes, tranny has oil. Ecm,check engine light just stays on . I hope that's not the case. Can it be the gear solenoid.
