    Child support
    I live in tx. And need to know how to stop child support once my obligations have been
    Met without the costly legal fee's. Please, someone help...

    Why should there be any fees? Your divorce agreement should spell out when support ends. As soon as you send the last check, you go to family court and ask for some statement that your financial responsibility has ended.

    Are you paying support directly or via payroll deduction.

    If you are going through payroll deduction, you might want to get a relase from the court effective the date that support should stop and present this to your payroll dept.
