My puppy is sick! Do you know what's wrong?
I have a 3 month old lab mix, she has not been eating much the last few days and last night and today has not even sniffed her food. I am really worried she threw up 2 days ago and had a little runny poop this morning and my friend that watches her while I'm at work said that she has been very sleepy today. I'm really scared and am going to take her to the vet asap but I was wondering if anyone has any advice!! I'm really axious. Also is there any way that she could get a sickness from a human, I know it sounds silly but I had strep throat and I was just wondering.
Thank you to whoever answers this.

Sounds like parvo, which is treatable, but you will need a veterinarian

I took her to the vet this morning, and he said that she has a brith deffect. She was not born with the 'good' germs in her tummy so the bad germs have been having a free for all in her little stomach. So she is on some meds that will get rid of the bad stuff and putt the new back in.

He also recommended that I get a high quality dog food know of any good brands?

Science diet is one of the better brands of dog food. You could also get your vet to prescribe a food for you that he might feel is better. Some dog foods have higher protein in the food than other. I know protein levels can upset your dog's stomach.

Science diet isn't all its cracked up to be. Natural Balance is a really good one, but might cost a little more. Go to specialty pet stores, they have the good stuff even though it might be a little more expensive. And it may sound funny, but Trander Joe's crand of dog food is actually very good. I have a very picky dog and one that has food and allergy issues and they both love it and it is good for them. Single protein (one meat in it, like chicken and rice or duck and potato) is easiest on doggies tummies :)
