Where should the transition between wood and tile take place between the Reading Room, Guest Bathroom and Guest Bedroom in the below floorplan? Note that the tile in the Guest Bedroom and Bathroom is the same tile and that the wood flooring runs from the Master Bedroom, through the diagonal hallway and into the Reading Room.

I would suggest that you not use wood in the bath, as it is subject to getting wet, swelling and then cause a hump in the floor.

The normal transition would be in the archway area, and you will need a transition strip of wood, or even better make the plane of both wood and tile come out equal and have a good installer that can make perfect joints.

You don't appear to have a door between the guest bath area and the reading room. This would be unusual, as your guests probably don't want open access to the bath as you come from the master bath.

There is a sliding door at the archway, in the plan it is half shut, just on the right side of the word Archway. That is what would separate the reading room from the guest area/laundry. I imagine it would be open most of the time.
