Our Phillips big screen television has yellow outlines all in the picture, can you answer why?
Why the yellow in our picture on our big screen television?

Is it a projection TV? How long have you had it?

Maybe the picture is not aligned (the projector has to be aligned so all the colors hit where they are supposed too)

    Or, possibly the color wheel.

We have had the television about 6 years. I don't know if it is a projection or not

More than likely... do you have the model number?

A projection TV is generally thicker... I will guess about 2' deep.
How it works, there are 3 bulbs (red, green, blue) that are focused to create the picture

My first guess is that that are no longer aligned. But, I could be wrong.. it could be other problem... post back the TV model number and I can see if I can find anything about it.
