Okay so my daughter is 16 and pregnant wit her boyfriend who is 20 years old she's about a good 4 months and when she told me she was pregnant I stopped talking to her.. I love her and all but its just so hard I mean I got pregnant at the same age with her 2... my mom kicked me out of the house then.. and sometimes her boyfriend hitz on me and I tell her 2 tell him something and she's like idc... I saw him cheat wit another girl and told my daughter and she said I don't care I mean I love her and all and I'm going to support her one way or another but we don't talk to each other since she tld me she is pregnant.. okay lol so my question is can I put her boyfriend to court since he's abusing her and hitting her while she's pregnant I mean I wan help her but she don't care if he hits her... I called the police many times on him and he was in jail many times but he just keeps coming bak can I get a restraining order on him?

Yes. As her parent and legal guardian you can most certainly get a restraining order on him for physically abusing her.

Another thing you can do is check with your state as to age of consent. He shouldn't have been messing with your daughter in the first place. How long ago did she turn 16 ?

Yes, you may get a restraining order against him, and you should be talking to the DA about looking at making the offense more seroius since there is a pattern of abuse.

Also this may fall under special child abuse laws, since he is a adult and she is a minor child still

Yes, you can press charges for the physical abuse and you can get a restraining order.

What State are you in? He may have other problems because of her age. Was she 16 when she got pregnant or was she 15 and has since turned 16?
