My house has a septic system which was cleaned a year ago.

The bathrooms are very clean.

Recently, I've noticed a faint urine-like smell in on the bathrooms.

Is it the seal on the toilet? Something else?

If the wax ring failed it would be a sewage smell, not just urine. Got anybody with faulty aim? The very old and very young can contribute to this problem. Is your toilet caulked at the base?

The very old, the very young and those of any age who stand up to pee can splatter on the walls. That may not be the cause, but it is in my house. I just wash the walls, although he should... "it's not me," he protests.
