    SOL on Canada Student Loans

My question is, if I paid both the federal and provincial portions of my defaulted student loan and only the part owing to the bank is remaining. Is there a statute of limitation here? Thank you!

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

An SOL simply states the time during which the creditor can sue to recover the debt.

As was stated in the thread you originally posted in, there is no SOL on Canadian student loans.
