    Can't get plumbing back together
I just took apart my kitchen sink plumbing and now I cannot get the pipes to fit back together correctly. I am at a loss. I should have taken a picture of the pipes before I took them apart, but didn't. It's a two sided metal sink with a garbage disposal and S trap. HELP?

    SWJOCEY...

Are all pipes metal? If so, then may be a good idea to switch all this over to new PVC pipe at this time. That is, only if you can't get it all back together easily... ;)

I swear, sometimes it's easier to simply repipe using the PVC fittings, etc. then to mess with real old pipes/washers/connections. I would also have you install a mechanical vent and a p-trap at this time, but again, only if going route of new PVC.

Let us know what you think!

PS... a picture of all the parts would also be helpful here!

If you already have it all apart, I would defenately go with plastic tubular instead of fighting chrome. And if it indeed an s-trap(I hope not) then yes, definitely install a mech vent.
