    I don't fit.
It's like a jigsaw puzzle, when you're born, you're a sheet of paper, and ever time you have any social connections a slither of the paper comes off,
By the time you're an "adult" (defined by western societies standards) you've had everything unwanted (defined by western societies standards) cut off,
And you fit with the rest, building a picture nothing needs.

    I...

I've stopped losing these slithers, in fact,
It feels like I've put more paper on then let slip off.

I am truly myself, along with others, totally different, yet the same in that context.

The problem is, I don't fit with anyone, it's like my shape is really new,
Except I just can't let go, it's like I'm forcibly holding myself that that portion of the jigsaw I love the most.

The house and people I've been around since birth.
    And their ethics/morals/standards.

    So I've decided,
I'm going to cut slithers through my piece of paper,
When someone tries to place me, or even find a place for me, I'll merely shift these particular pieces around,

    In other words,

    Change myself.

Changing oneself can be a good thing, coogiez! If this is concerning yourself, then I would definitely think that it would be a good thing. You are growing in your understanding, no matter what your age...

I'm also going through changes in my life and adapting to the things to which I need to adapt!

Yes, it is like a big jigsaw puzzle! I know where you're coming from!

If this is concerning a figurative person, then that would depend on the motive of the writer behind what has been written.

I would have to agree with a lot of your post here, because I shift and shape according to the circumstances and situations. I am a part of a number of large groups of people - also act as a leader.

Having the ability to be a Chameleon can definitely have it's advantages!

The lack of response to you was because there is some question as to your true identity because of the way that you change...

Consistency in ones approach to various aspects of the ways of being also has it's advantages. People know what to expect and are more likely to trust, in kind, a person who is at least consistent - even though that person might change his or her appearance by what they write. But, it is self-evident that there is a truth and self-conviction to what they will write that will also be self-evident and flow through their writings so that others will know who that person really is by what they stand for in their writings and the convictions of their stance and personality that is revealed by what they write.

    Hence, me...

There isn't a single person on this site who has been around for a number of months or years who doesn't know who I am, what I am about or what I stand for. That would be due to the way that I write and what I say in the context of what I write.

It cannot be said the same for others here who have only been around for a short while... They do need to prove themselves and also stand the test of time here with also the test of being scrutinized by others in accordance to what they have posted that is reflective of the way that they really are.

Trusting someone "in kind" here is something very important. It is a matter of social etiquette, of enlightenment, respect and also just plain old good manners to someone who posts on this site.

I can trust a person "in kind" by what they write because of the consistency of the context of what they have written as compared to other posts that they write or have written and by the demeanor with which they present themselves and also treat others.

Those sort of things I can trust about people here.

Trust is something that must be earned.

Please excuse my blather here. But, I'm trying to keep in tune with the context and integrity of this thread.

I truly did understand what you wrote and can identify with it.

    Change is good!

Now, what do you think, please?

    now,
I'm sure that would be because i posted this a few days ago...
(yes, i know this goes deeper)

1: when thinking you know what to expect, you let your guard down.
and if it's in a scenario where what someone says something it means something deeply, because you think you know what to expect, you loosen your grip on what's begin said,
    BAM
you just lost some valuable understanding if knowledge there.

2: having my personal motives encrypted in what i say is something i really try to shake about,
hey, i could all the sudden talk like an hero,
although i see no reason to right now, understanding emotion is something i stand for.

personally, I'd be inspired if someone were to come along, understand what I've wrote to my extent,
and then go further, although it's never happened before, I'm not bragging,
i just say, and think for that matter, differently i guess.

    ha,
everyone I've ever met has at least once looked at me and actually told me they "felt" like they're next to a homicidal maniac.

personally, i feel (uh.. lets just use our imagination here ^.^) to know I've got my own social standing only because others thought it,

it means I'm not to blame.. *insert fiery crazy laughing smily gif here*
