Teen pregnancy with only one kidney
What are the risks of my teen daughter who only has one kidney which is pregnant of having a normal healthy pregnancy?

I understand your concern and your question, but your daughter should be discussing this with a urogynecologist or her OB/Gyne.They are in the best position to guide her with her decisions on starting a family.

My husband had end stage renal disease and also spoke at support group meetings so I'm somewhat familiar with this problem.

She should consult with a nephrologist. Some will depend on why she "lost" a kidney.
