I have a Hampton Bay ceiling fan that's about 18 months old. A few day ago the light stopped working, however fan still operates. I've checked all the bulbs, they are fine. This light kit came with the fan I read that you cannot replace the light for ceiling fans that come with a light kit. Is this true? Would I be better off replacing the whole fan?
