I have a 98 Honda Civic lx. When I turn the heater on, still cold air is coming from. I changed the thermostat but the problen did not fix it. What I can do?

Is the vehicle overheating at all? It could be a bad heater core. The vent door that switches from warm to cold could also be bad.
