    Pump pressure
I have a cistern in my garage with a pump connected to it which allows the house to receive water. I recently had to change 2 plastic pipes and after I did this the water pressure is no worse. I checked that the pump was primed and it was and I do get some pressure but the pressure is much worse. Any ideas?

Explain to me about these two pipes you replaced? Since plastic doesn't wear out why were they replaced? Back to you, Tom

"after i did this the water pressure is no worse." I am assuming you meant to say the pressure is NOW worse. I'm with SB on this one. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure all joints are tight because if there is a leak in the suction line then the pump will not draw properly. But again, what was the original problem that called for replacing pipes?
