    Early termination of probation
I was sentenced to 5 yrs. Probation, ET after half. In my probation order it states that I must pay back all restitution to the victims, even my co-defendant's half, before I get off probation. My co-defendant doesn't get out of prison until 2013 and I will be eligible for early term. Next August. Will I have to pay his half to get early term.

Yes, you will - that is a condition of your early termination. Full restitution must be paid.

You would have to pay, then collect from your co defendant.

    Hello ace:

I'm sure the words you're using aren't the words on your court order. Please cite the EXACT WORDS, as they read on your judgment and/or your conditions of probation. Personally, I can't believe that YOU are responsible for your partners half.

How can I get an early term on two 5 year probations? I was told by two probation officers that if I paid my late fees and the supervision fees that because of my situation I could get an early term. I have a 5 month old son a new job that doesn't pay much and I owe around 20,000 all together.

Hey excon. My probation order states: "You will pay restitution in the amount of $2,368.78 which represents your pro-rafa share of $4,737.56, plus any amount not paid by your co-defendants or accomplices, with payments to be made as instructed by your Probation/Community Control Officer to the victims." As crappy as it is, those are the terms.

It does not state that you will remain on probation until all monies are paid. Therefore after probation, what ever the amount was set at, you will continue until paid in full. How you find out who paid what I have no clue.
