Links received in emails through Outlook do not function yet links in Internet explorer do work. I recently switched back to Windows explorer from Netscape and I'm sure this is the problem but I can't find the cure. I think I had this problem some years back but I forgot what I did about it. Help would be appreciated.

Generally you need to Control-click the links. I don't know if "safe senders are exempt". Same is true for Microsoft Word links.

Sometimes the functionality is removed because of the spam filters.

First thing, go to start and run then type:
Regsvr32 urlmon.dll
And hit enter

Now:

Go to tools, internet options, programs tab and make sure internet explorer is set as the default browser, if not, click Make Default

Then apply - now try again

Tools/Options/Mail Format - put HTML in that first dropdown field and hit Apply.
