Is it true you can get "semi-perminant" needle tatoos?
    Hi!

Ive heard before that you can get tatoos done with a certain type of ink that fades away after a few years..

Is this true or total bull?

If it is true how long do they last and how effective are they?

(Incase you are wondering I'm not getting mixed up with henna tatoos)

I have never heard of such a thing and to be honest why would you want this? It seems counter productive to sit through the whole process only to have it fade away.
I admit that I am not an 'expert' on this but I have several tattoos and my best friend is a tattoo artist.

Well personally I would get the henna tattoos done if I only wanted something for a little while.
I believe authentic henna tattoos stay for quite a while longer than the henna tattoo kits you can get on line and such, right?
If you're going to get a semi-permanent one, why go through that all, like MarkwithaK said.

My aunt does permanent make up, which is pretty much tattooing eyeliner and lip liner and stuff, but you have to get that re done every once and a while, so maybe its something like that?
