Um... well I see that can be confusing. Don't buy another home pregnancy test. I'm a nurse so I think you should get the real result form your MD.

FYI: That happen to women sometimes. So its best to get a MD to confirm this.

I was not going to say this but I will go ahead. I think you pregnant. The hormone "Hgh" is high concentrated in the am. That is why back in the day, the home test were to be taken in the am. But the new test now a days say you can take it anytime. The doing to test on first urine in the am is always better.
    Congrats.

If you got a positive in the time frame specified for reading results on the test you used, then it was likely positive. If it was negative, and you came back to look at it later to find a positive, it may have been an evaporation line.
If they were different brands of tests, that could account for the difference in results as tests can have different sensitivity levels. Could also be a positive early on, which may then show negative on later tests if the pregnancy does not take.
Your doctor will likely use a urine test in the office as well, but they may decide to have you take a blood test instead.

Head to a doctor asap. You can go to places like planned parenthood where you don't need an appointment.

    Was this a planned pregnancy?
