Hello Everyone,

I am new to this format and I have recently encountered a problem while attempting to Email my resume to a prospective employer. It seems each time I try, I get this message,
Account POP3. Server: "SMTP". Protocol: SMTP. Port: 25. Secure(SSL): No. Socket Error: 11001. Error Number: 0x800CCCOD. What does this mean and can I do anything about it? Sure would like to understand and resolve this. Thank you all for any help.

What email program are you using and type of email account (ex.. hotmail, Yahoo, etc... )

They could be blocking anyone from Yahoo domains. I'd ask them.

Combined with the reply from Seahawk83 this anwer is clearing up a lot of questions on my problem.

Are you going to Yahoo for email or are you using a program like outlook?
