    I don't understand my boyfriend
I have been dating a very kind, sweet, nice young man for 2 months, but he won't give me his address, meet my family, introduce me to his, he doesn't seem to want to have sex, any suggestions. He does take me on lovely dates. We have not been intimate yet. Please help me to understand him, he says he is very private, just the way he is.

Two things came to mind as I read your post. First impression was he is a married man trying to explore and get the courage to actually have an affair. Second thought was - you said he was a "young" man. He might still be living at home with his parents and is embrassed to let you know.

Either way, you may want to find someone who is real, open, not weird. After 2 months and you still don't know anything about this guy, I wouldn't consider him a likely catch.

    Good luck!

Spooky. Move on. Private? That's BS.

It seems like he just doesn't care for you enough to involve you in much of his life. It has only been two months, which is WAY too soon for sex in any relationship anyway, so don't pressure him in any way. I don't know, I lived by the rule that I'm not going to date anyone that I don't intend to marry and I will not have sex before marriage. My one and only partner- my fiancé and I knew each other for over a year before even having our first kiss- it takes a lot of commitment, but it goes to show that our relationship isn't held together with mushy physical touch and dating drama.

Or he could have came from a very bad relationship and is being very stand offish. Give it a little more time a couple of months and if the situation does change I would suggest leaving and not looking back.
