    Yes, you can travel overseas but you would probably need a proper visa. This might be different from US passport holders. Check with the consulate of that country first to obtain this info.

    It's recommended not to leave US for over 6 months in a year or you may lose your green card. If you really need to leave US for longer period, apply for re-entry permit (I-131) and make sure you receive the approval notice before you go.

    It depends on the country in which you are visiting. Check with the countries to see if they require a visa. Easiest way of doing this is to call up one of the airlines.

    I, myself, have a green card, and have traveled to England, Czech Republic, Netherlands, and Spain, without a visa.
