You don't want to put in an objective section. The first section on your resume should be about your accomplishments--using objective facts and figures to tell what you have done to help the company earn or save money--"brought in 23 new customers during a two-month period" or "sold a record 166 mobile phones over a six-month period" or "in 2007 was presented with the company award of Most Valued Salesperson of the Year."

(I've been helping people with resumes since 1985, so trust me on this.)

The stuff people put into the objective section is usually so vague and so unimportant. If anything, put those thoughts into the cover letter, if you must. And the cover letter should be short and sweet, three paragraphs.

    Best wishes!
