    Depo and pregnancy
I was on the depo shot for about a year and a half and then changed to the pill. About 3 months ago, I got one last shot. That was June 12. I had a period July 30th for about 4 days. I have never had regular periods. My husband and I are wanting to get pregnant. Is this possible without having a regular period?

Although not the norm for most women, it is possible that you may ovulate and not have a period, but it may also be from the depo. Some women find it takes quite a long time for their bodies to regulate after using depo provera.
Since you don't normally have regular cycles, it will be a bit more tricky determining if you are pregnant. You will likely have to invest in a few pregnancy tests to use when you think you may have been successful... due to other symptoms besides lack of a period.

I was on the depo too, unlike you I got right back to my regular schedule the next month. Except for the weight gain and acme which started happening 3 months later (body getting rid of excess hormones). For some it could take up to 6 months for their bodies to get back to normal (with periods) as DoulaLC said... she is the expert and you will probably have to invest in a few as she said. I waited a year before we started to have kids because it was a new product at the time and I was not sure about the side effects on the baby or me. Well did I ever pay for it 30 pounds latter and acme... big bad zits! After I lost some weight and acme went away I knew the hormones where gone. I have a healthy baby girl now. I am not an expert but I think you should give your body another 3 months before trying just to give your body a fresh start... drink tones of water to flush your system and eat healthy while trying. Best of luck!
