Length & slope of toilet waste line?
I'm going to move the toilet in my bathroom but will be about 6' from the main stack. How long can the horizontal waste line be that goes to the main stack and what slope does it need to be at?

A 3" drain should pitch 1/4" per foot but a 4" can slope half that. I'm confused by your last question since you are telling us the distance is 6', did I misunderstand?

Thanks for the answer to the slope question. My horizontal waste line, which will be sloped, needs to be 6 feet long before it reaches the main horizontal stack. Is there a maximum length (distance) allowed?

    Hi Jadrma...

Maximum distance from toilet to vent stack (or vent) is 8 feet. You should be fine here!

Like Mark says you'll be fine just drop 1 1/2" from toilet to stack.
