A buddy of mine from work had had Blue Shield insurance for the past 13 years. Here recently over the last 2 years he has had cancer and c.o.p.d. and multiple other health problems resulting from smoking. He came into work today and had told me that Blueshield had dropped his insurance because basically he was costing them to much money. So now he doesn't have any insurance what so ever? Is this legal for them to do? I figured if a person needs health insurance thats why they get it for medical reasons not to have it dropped 10 years later or for however long because they aren't making any money. Please help.
