Hi,

I'm practically begging for help cause my dryer is my life! I have a Whirlpool AWZ 221 tumble dryer which has been working perfectly for a year or two until today.

When I went to turn on the machine by pressing in the start button, nothing happens and the start button won't stay pressed. I have noticed that the red light which is normally on when the timer is set, is not on today. However, the light next to it is on (so I know it is not a power problem) but I cannot say if this light is usually on or off.

The door is closing correctly, no sound is emerging, it feels like there is no power. I have plugged it into different sockets with no change at all. Can you please give me some advice?

This may sound lame but you truly have to verify that the plugs you are using are "hot". Do you have a volt meter? Is this a gas dryer or an electric dryer?
