Today is my due date and no baby yet.
Hello, I'm not new here my other sign in name was mother6, I lost my password so I had to create a nother account. Well to the real question my due date is today, but my baby is not here yet I went to the doctor yesterday and my doctor checked me and said I'm just a fingertip dialated and to start walking, and take warm baths this is not my first child I just want to know how quick will the dialating go for the six child? :)

As you well know due dates are guesses, educated but still guesses. Often give or take a week or two.

And this is another fun thing, it can always be different this time

With my daughter I was 2 weeks overdue. Walking didn't help and at the end of my second week the doctor induced my labor and that including breaking my water.

This is your sixth child so you know how it goes. Just relax and the baby will come. Congraduations!

Don't worry that baby will come as soon as it's ready. You really can't rush that sort of thing.

I understand! I can't wait for that day and if I could give birth today instead of January I would. I wish I could wake up tomorrow and it will be my due date. I too would go through the emotions your going through as of "why isn't my baby here yet". She will come through. Are your other kids excited about their sister coming.

Yes they keep asking when is she coming, and everyone in my family and in his family keeps calling to see if she is here yet and all our friends to I just want all the calls to stop as well. So you might say that everyone is excited.

    Hey Babyface714,

Your probably a more experienced person than I am because I am barley on my first and my due date is not until 4/01/2009. But Wlaking does help a lot and here is way. My sister was pregnant with her first child and well though out her pregnancy she never walked. So she was due on June 27 of 2004 and guess what no baby. So she started going to the hospital 2 days a week to check the baby's heart beat and the Dr.'s kept telling her to walk. Well on July 23, 2004 she went to one of her appts. And the Dr.'s told her that the baby's heart beat was very low and they needed to do an emergency c-section because they believed the baby was drinking the fluid. And so yeah that baby was in my sisters stomach for almost 10 months and she never dialated because she never walked. Luckly, the baby was fine. So try and walk as much as you can. And Congrats!

Hey your welcome. Let me tell you something else it might be kind of weird because of your big belly and you probably will feel weird about it, but I heard on t.v. that have sex also makes you go into labor. I don't know if it works but I heard it on a t.v. program. I don't know maybe you should just stick to walking.

I understand those feelings. I had my 2nd child in February, and he was a full 14 days late. Lots of reassurrances from the doctor, but I was still feeling pretty nervous. It didn't help though, that whenever I went for an ultrasound, the tech would say "wow...we are guesstimating over 10lbs for this one..."Yikes! He came out a healthy 8lbs6oz though. Much to my delight. The labour was short and not particularly difficult. He justwanted to hang out in the oven a bit longer I guess...

Thanks jennysolano18, you are right doctors say that to, but I'm not going to be doing that because my baby daddy is cheating on me and I'm not going to trust that. I just need to have her so I can let him go.

You are right jambourrie, she probable just want to hang out a little longer, and maybe she just waiting for her dad to fix hisself before she come out.
