Hello, I am trying to find a song off the movie purple rain. I searched the soundtrack and it was not on it. I know that the artist isn't prince, I believe the guy singing it was once in his group though. Anyway, here are some of the lyrics, and I could be wrong about the lyrics but this is what it sounds like he is saying. Mountain air mountair air, I want to be your mountain air, mountain air. The song plays shortly after price and his group are in the back room talking.

It's Modernaire by Dez erson. He was a guitarist for Prince and the Revolution for a few years.

What I have found.

If it wasn't prince.. it was either: John L. Nelson or Michel Colombier or Dez erson

Look in the movie credits... it should be listed.



EDIT: or, you could just not listen to me and take jjwoodhull's suggestion LOL

His name is Dez D I c k e r s o n, which keeps getting edited out.
