    You can start by thinking about the fact that the time the bullet was in the air is the time it takes for something to drop 2 cm under gravty. In other words:
    2 cm = 1/2 * g t^2, now solve for t.

    Once you that, it's easy to find the velocity of the bullet - it's simply velocity = distance/time.
