We recently had a small pinhole leak in a pipe. After it was repaired we noticed a huge increase in water pressure. What could have caused this and is it a problem? We have a well.

Does your home have a pressure reducing valve (PRV) it may have failed. Tel us exactly where the leak was located and what's near it.

Check the gauge on you well tank, tell us what it reads. Who did repairs, how did they go about turning off the water.
