I have a Frigeidaire Gallery clothes washer . It is Dryer on top washer on bottom, I went to start a load... everythings fine then went back after hearing this noise and water was all over the floor. I cleaned it up and looked in the washer. The washer is full of water and will not spin out. It spins but water remains in the tub. Please help! Also the noise is like a grinding noise. :confused:

You may have small piece of cloth, or lint, clogging pump inlet strainer. Or your pump is not working at all. Can you hear the pump going ?
