Hey there my husband and I have been trying for awhile to get pregnant. We did it last in July, I had a weird period in Aug for 4 days was not the same as all my other periods and it was 4 days late. Now in sept I am 7 days late and no sign of my period but I did take a HPT and it still says I am not pregnant. Could I just be a person that it does not show up on them? Also if I have had my period in aug could I still have that one and be pregnant. Also I have noticed a clear slimy discharge not the same as a normal one and I am a smoker and lately smoking is making me feel sick. Can anyone help me? Thanks

Since your only 7 days late maybe you should wait another week before taking another test and use 1st day urine. When you buy a hpt make sure your buying one with a low hcg count like first response. I found out I was pregnant using the $1 test and went to the doctor to confirm.

Or maybe you should go to a doctor. They have tests they can do. No one on here could really tell you, you could be or maybe your not.

Also, if your trying get pregnant stop smoking and relax. It will happen when the time is right. Sometimes when were trying to get pregnant we take any little sign that were are.
