I am trying to locate the reset switch on my Carrier Weathermaker
8000 furnace.Can anyone help me out?

What type of reset?

There are manual reset switches on the sides of the burner sheet metal, these are rollout switches to protect against the flames coming out the front of the furnace due to dirty burners or cracked heat exchanger or delayed ignition. These rollout switches have a small button between the red wires on the switch, you have to manually push it in. Also a manual switch on the vent at the top of the furnace, good luck, Mike
