My name is Liz and I'm looking for information regarding my biological father. I have spoken to social services but they have only helped me up to a point and now I'm a bit stuck. As such the following information is all I have to go on but hopefully you can put me in the right direction without having to spend money on rip off spam sites.

His name is Derek Briggs, born 05/12/1940 in London and lived at number 20 Lansdowne Rd, Bedford, UK, dates unsure. He is caucasian and 5'6", tall, slim, balding dark brown hair. He was married in March 1967 and had 4 children in this relationship but the marriage broke down. It was some time after this that Derek met my mother. He worked for Queenby Price in Turvey Bedfordshire until April 1989 when his contract was terminated.

This is the total of the information I have garnered to date so any help really would be very appreciated.

Sorry to say this but have you tried searching death records?

You know what? Have you tried people searches online? You can enter all the information you know (i.e. birthdate, last known address, etc) and pay a small fee, and it will give you the results. This is how we found my husbands father. Its kind of like a private detective but cheaper & online.
