A recent study shows that some men/women carry a certain gene that makes us cheat. Do you think it because of the excitement? Bordem? Or just human nature? Tell me what you think?

Im not certain about that "cheating gene" but here's my opinion why people cheat...

You are not QUITE happy w/ your partner
You are just tempted
You are gullible
You we're hit with "idiot spirit"
You have a poor self image
You are a sex addict

People tend to experiment through sex because he/she DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE WANTS in life and for himself.

cheating or having a variety of women doest always mean sex is involve. It could primarily be for just companionship.

Yes of course but most of a time they deny it to themselves that they are "cheating by heart" and sex just makes the cheating "OFFICIAL".

Men cheat because they like to feel they are in control and like the excitement

Women cheat when they are emotional i.e looking for attention/love

People cheat for many reasons, some of the reasons only makes sense to the cheater and no one else. Tempations is everywhere but it's up to that person to control themselve whether it's a male or female.

Women are not the only ones that cheat for attention or love some men do too. If someone is unhappy with someone they should leave instead of cheating. Communication is lacking in most of relationship and everyone should learn how to do it.

Anyway, like I stated earlier only the cheater knows why and again sometimes t only makes sense to that person.

Agree, only the cheater is to blame

Man is the only animal on earth that is GREATER than the sum of his genes. We are thinking, conceptual creatures. We have the ability to suppress instinct and genetics and make choices contrary to instinct and genetics.

I don't know if a gene exists or not that gives a person the inclination to be unfaithful, but I do know it doesn't have to matter if it does or not. The choice to CHEAT is still a conscious one.

People cheat because it's a quick fix for feeling good.
