    Getting back into shape
    Hi,

I'm 5' 5.5" and I weigh around 150 pounds, I'm 21 almost 22 years of age. I've been trying to get back into shape. I used to work around animals and was always moving. It kept me slimmed down and toned. I haven't worked with animals in around 2 years now. I've been a cleaner/ maitenance woman. I had a bad knee injury years ago and one of my knees is 85% scar tissue. Dr's orders I can't run, jog, jump or sit cross legged. It prevented me from doing gym when I was in school. Now I've still got quite muscular legs though my thighs have seemed to bulk up my arms are a little flabby and I've got quite the little belly and I can't stand it. I'd love to get back into shape but I can't afford a personal trainer at the university in my town and I don't want to do the wrong things to further hurt my knee. I eat pretty healthy in consideration. I've been cutting down on nightly snacks and soft drinks but its not seeming to be helping. I take a half an hour walk almost once a day. Does anyone know what routine I could use to better tone my belly and the rest of my body. I was thinking some exercise cd that I could use in my home with minimal equipment because of cash flow right now. I've thought about adding diet pills. But I don't know much about them and I'm a paranoid person when it comes to things like that. Could someone help me out?

    Thanks

I'm in the same position as you right now. I too am a cleaner, however I was relocated from a very fast paced hospital environment to an extremely slow environment about 2 yrs ago. I was very slim and always felt energetic, but now not so much. This past week I have tried accelis. No side effects whatsoever. You take 2 pills before bed and it steadies your sugars throughout the next day. In a nut shell it suppresses your urges to eat, over eat. You will want breakfast in the morning, so eat a healthy breakfast such as 6 scrambled egg whites ( no yolks) you can add flavour if you want like onions , muchrooms, or green peppers. Also a little oatmeal and a yogourt. The idea is to walk a way full from breakfast. This will keep you going until suppertime. Mean while just keep doing what your doing. I'm unable to run or jog due to both my knees, but with good cushoned sneakers I can walk fast. Good luck

Accelis cost about 20.00 and you can get it at wallmart. One month supply. You'll notice in a about 3 days. At least that's what happened with me. My mom is hypoglysemic, not sure if that's how you spell it. But what it means is she gets real dizzy and sick if she doesn't eat throuhout the day because her sugars are down. The pill works for her and she can eat breakfast and go all day until supper. She's never been able to do that.
