The key icon light on the dashboard keeps blinking when on on position... can there be something wrong with my 2004 honda accord key, and if so is that why my car won't turn on.. please help I posted a question earlier in the week and I hope this can help some >>!!

Doesn't appear that you immobilizer system is recognizing your key. Is it a Master key or valet key? Also, you may want to try re-initializing your immobilizer by trying it in the driver's door. Lock, then unlock, repeated three times. The key's energy source is derived from placing it in the ignition cylinder for a minute or so. If you are like me, I use only one of my keys to start the car and if I misplace that key and have to use a backup it sometimes takes a while to recognize it.
