    Shared Parenting Agreement / Ohio
Divorced in Cincinnati and signed a Shared Parenting Agreement. There is a sentence in this agreement that states both parties should have access to son's records. However, ex stopped paying for son's private school education, but yet he phones the school wanting to know the balance of the account. My current husbands pay's for the education, which is up to date. How can I stop the ex from prying into mine and my husband's financial business.

If he is soooo concerned... HELP PAY FOR YOUR CHILD'S EDUCATION.

Basically you need to go back to Court and have the Judge take that portion of the "access of child's records" out of the Agreement. At this point unless the Shared Parenting Agreement is modified and approved by the Judge your hands are tied. The school has to "share" their information with him. Why not try for full custody and strict visitation instead? That would stop him cold in his tracks.

When you were divorced, was sending your son to a private school discussed? Or was your son enrolled after the agreement was in place?

The only thing you can do to prevent him from receiving access to these records is to file for a modification to the agreement. The judge will want to hear why you don't want your ex to have access and why your ex wants to have that access.
