    Freezing cheese
I'm new to the kitchen and in an effort to save money I bought some bulk cheese (5lb. Bag of mozzerella & provolone) to make my own homemade pizza with. I made 2- 12" pizza's and hardly dented the bag. I'm worried if I just keep in refrigerator it will mold... any suggestions

    No worries there.
It will be quite happy frozen for 3-5 months.
Best to break it down into smaller, more manageable packages.

I freeze cheese all the time. I do like to break it down into smaller bags so I don't have to deal with the big bags. Any kind of cheese does well. Also shreaded does fine as well as sliced or brick style. I kept mozzarella shreaded cheese in my deep freeze for months and it was still good after I discovered it at the bottom of the freezer one year later.
