    Can't find the VIN
I have an older mobile home that was purchased a long time ago. The person that owned it before me bought it from a man in Ohio and he had it brought down to TN. They never registered it or titled it. I am in desperate need to find the VIN. Theprevious owners have done a large amount of work on it... as in; it now sits on a permanent foundation, had add ons, and has been covered with siding. The tongue is not attached either. I have searched the entire house up and down, and even crawled under the home in the very small crawl space that it has and to no avail no vin #. The previous owners do not have any paper work for it any more and I cannot find the person who they bought it from... I do know the manufacturer and I have the model number and where it was manufactured. Can someone please help me with searching for the VIN and year so that I may get my home refinanced so that I do not lose my home.!

    Thank You

You have to keep backtracking, reviewing records of past sales. The only way to find the number is to find out who bought it new - unless someone, somewhere along the way, titled it.

There is no easy way to do this.
