Removal of Friedrich Grohe shower faucet
I recently purchased a 14 year old home. I have two Friedrich Grohe shower faucets. Both are malfunctioning. The first has very low water flow. The other has luke warm water at high hot setting.
Each faucet has a plastic ring with temperature ring on it. I would like to pull the valve on the one with low water flow. The outer knob adjusts temperature, and the inner lever controls volume.
I've removed the cap over the stem. Now, I'm at the plastic ring. I'm afraid to pry harder for fear that I will break the platic ring. I'm stuck. How do I disassemlbe this thing.
