    October Surprise??
    Hello:

It's been reported that our troops have been fired upon by the Pakistanis inside Pakistan.

Should we be sending soldiers inside a sovereign nation who also happens to be our ally? Or, are they our ally? Bush is pishing off the pashtoons. The Afghani's too. I can see the two of them joining forces with the Taliban to cause us some trouble.

As noted previously, Pakistan DOES have Nukes. And, who's doing those bombings inside India?

I'm just asking?? Do you really think the dufus in chief made you safer?? Bwa, ha ha ha. I think he has something up his sleeve.

Dufus in chief has more up his sleeve than Nukes. Yes, and Pakistan has had a bumper crop of heroin/opium lately. Who's going to guard the chicken coop to make sure it all hits the streets of the foreign countries in good condition? Why we are, of course, you silly rabbit.

Speculation is easy and fun . I've read no reports about the wacky Pakis firing on our troops .I only read that they have been cleared to do so. If they do I assume they will be converted to a shade of pink mist... sorta like when Vichy France authorized the firing on the US fleet when the US invaded Northern Africa.

The BBC reported however ,and what you probably are referring to is that the courageous Pakis fired into the air . This was done no doubt for domestic consumption ;take a little steam out of the boiler.

Who finances the Paki Army ? What would happen if they truly fired at us ?Say goodby to those spare F-16 parts. Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen is visiting Islamabad now to consult ;or more likely plan with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani ;our new best friends in the country. .

Here's a little hint for you and BarryO . The Pakistan Army has no desire to see the Taliban and the radical AQs gain any more power. With a wink and a nod to save face they will act like they are standing up to our incursions while they privately cheer us on.Classic “good cop, bad cop” stuff. We can cross their border at will in most of the areas we are looking to strike without them ever knowing .As you will recall ;they ceded those areas to jihadistan already. Sovereignty as I always say needs to be accompanied by having the ability to defend territory.

The October Surprise, since we are speculating, will be Mullah Omar ,Ayaman al-Zawahiri and perhaps even OBL's head on a pike. But maybe BO is calling the Pakis and suggesting they stall and wait out the Bush term.
