White bumps on my staffy's head
I have two 7 1/2 months Staffordshire Bull Terrier, my boy Chester and my girl Ginger. My boyfriend and I brought them home from England. We are still learning the health issues with staffy and we are experiencing skin problem with our girl. About a few months ago, she started developing some bumps on her back legs and it just little bumps and the skin dried up. Now she has these little white bumps on her head and it doesn't itch. She did had mange when she was about 4 months old and it went away. My boyfriend is so against to take her to the Vet and he doesn't want her to be on medications and all drug up. My friend recommended me to try Natural Balance, Potatoes and Duck and we should see some changes in about 3 weeks or so. I want to know if I should worry and if anyone who has staffy had the same skin problem with their staffy. Thanks.

I think you should take your dog to the vet, no offense to your boyfriend. If the bumps don't hurt Ginger I'm sure the vet won't "drug her up". And maybe you should tell your vet how you feel about your dog being on drugs. I'm not 100% sure if mange just goes away, but it could be mange or it could be a staph infection which is contagious to humans, and can require hospitalization if it gets in your blood. Now it sounds like its just on Ginger's skin so she would be OK with some anitbiotics, or if its mange, some skin treatments. Like I said I'm no expert but I think its something the vet should look at to be on the safe side for Ginger and her family.
