    Canadian traveling to USA
Hi, I've read a few posts now, and I've seen 2 different answers come up. So, being a canadian, can I travel to the USA by car with my birth certificate and Drivers license(without a passport) ? I even have my expired passport from last year I could bring... Thanks!

US Homeland Security website says says:

Effective January 31, 2008 Canadian citizens (both adults and children) entering the US by land or by water must show:

ADULTS: A government-issued PHOTO ID such as a drivers license AND one of the following: a Canadian birth certificate OR citizenship passport OR a valid Canadian passport OR a Nexus or FAST card OR an enhanced drivers license OR an Indian or INAC card.

If 18 years or under - a Canadian birth certificate.
