    Clearing up skin FAST
What's the fastest way to clear up acne?

Have you tried the things suggested the last time you asked about acne?

I use the benzo thingamabobber... forgot what it's called. One of those "on the spot" things, but I use it all over my face at night before going to bed.

    Hi, Momma!

I have used a facial "mask" before that seemed to clear things up fairly quickly. It was one that was from Merle Norman. I did two applications of it within an hour or so.

Hopefully, others will come along with helpful advice, too!

Thank you guys, I will try that method, ISF. You've sent me that link before, but to be honest, I kind of looked it over. But that's a good site.

    Proactive works well.
I also had a friend who has a home-made kind of thing. They say if you very very carefully take the super thin white membrane out of an egg shell, that membrane will suck a pimple dry like nothing, can't verify though.
You'll probably need a mask for general skin problems. But for bumps, you can use spot lotions, and I also like to use ice. If you have a spot that is swelling but hasn't broke or developed a head, then just put ice in a plastic baggy and hold it on the swelling for a couple minutes, then off 2 minutes, then on, then off. It can reduce the swelling and maybe make it go away early.

Otherwise, be sure to wash twice a day, keep all greasy stuff away from your face. Do NOT drink sugary stuff, sodas, fruit drinks, etc... Avoid sleeping on your face or letting people touch you. Blemishes develop because of bacteria, bacteria doesn't get in your pores unless you come in contact with stuff. So just be careful.

Most people can get pretty clean in about two week time, with the odd difficult spots taking a little longer. Then masks and a healthy diet will help clean up redness and general skin issues.

    Good luck!
