My dad was just busted with some drugs I think they were morphine. Not really forsure but he is now in jail. Im doing the tough love thing and not getting him out. Its his first time offense on ever getting in trouble as far as drugs go.. so what do they usually do for first offense?

This will all depend on the amount of drugs and how he was arrested. If he was arrested selling the drugs to the cops, he's going to have to do some pretty fancy talking to get out of it (almost impossible to do) even with the help of a pricey attorney on his side. He will/should get probation and probably a hefty fine as well. I applaud you on letting him do the jail time. Tough love is harder on the family than it is on the person who messed up. He's essentially messed up his life for a few years. Hope he learns his lesson. He should have known that D.A.R.E. means Drugs Are Really Expensive. He probably does now (or will shortly).

Yes, will depend on where he was arrest, some areas are tougher on drugs than others, exactly what drugs and how many, if it was over the level to make him a dealer.

Most likely he will get probation after it is over, but he needs a good attorney
