    Shower pan
Does anyone make a shower pan with an integrated above the floor drain? I want to connect it to a sewage ejector pump that allows connections at floor level. Limited head room prevents me from building a platform for the shower pan.

Your question needs more details before it can be answered. Is it a shower pan or a shower base that you're requesting information on. A shower pan is what a tile shower is custom built on while a shower base is a manifactured plastic or fiber glass base that requires no tile and is ready for use once installed. Are you saying that you wish to mount a shower pan/base above a floor drain that discharges into a holding tank? How will the shower drain connect into the floor drain? If a direct connection's made then the shoiwer will have to be vented. No vent's necessary if the shower has a indirect waste,( no physical connection between the shower drain and the floor drain). Let me know, Regards, Tom

Hi speedball1... thankx for your reply. It's a shower base (plastic), not a shower pan, my mistake. I want to connect the drain from the shower base directly to a sewage ejector holding tank, ceiling clearance is my problem. If I had the height I could set the base on a platform and pipe it to the tank. As it is I would loose too much head room with the base on a platform. A base with an integrated above the floor drain connection would be the ideal solution. Are they available?

    Thankx... JackD

    Hey Jack,

"I want to connect the drain from the shower base directly to a sewage ejector holding tank."
Please explain if the shower base will set above the floor drain and drain into it with a air gap in between or will you be connecting direct to the floor drain. If you're connecting direct pliease give me the details. Be specific on this as I can see a problem unless you opt to use a indirect waste. Regards, Tom
