What is the formula for (easy one) carbon dioxide? CO2

The same way, the formula of Oxygen difluoride will be..

The prefix 'di' means that the element is twice. In carbon dioxide, there is 'di'oxide, meaning two oxygen, hence C'O2'.

'tri' for three and 'tetra' for four.

Hope that helped. And post your answer, we'll see if you did it right.
