s1 & s3 asphalt cubic yd into ton

Hey Nick, this is just a rough estimate. 1 cubic yard = 1.35 tons (approx.) so 1 ton = 0.7 cubic yards.

What will it cost me to pick up old asphalt and put back new asphalt 3" deep in NJ?

Jose, you should not piggy back on someone else's post. Just make your own new post by clicking on ASK. You answer will vary in different parts of the country but approximately $3000 for 1000s/f and this insludes additional gravel and compacting.
